Mission
Wheelock Family Theatre makes quality theatre accessible to all people of the greater Boston community. We call ourselves a family theatre because we produce stories to include all generations; modern dramas, children’s classics, family musicals, and original work. We feature multi-cultural and intergenerational casts as a true reflection of our audience and the larger society. The Wheelock Family Theatre is a professional institution for teaching young people respect and empathy, the value of team work, literacy and performance skills, production and stagecraft.
