Now in its second season, Vagabond Theatre Group presents a brand new play by local Boston Playwright, Bea Wissel and directed by James Peter Sotis. Burning the Barn hits the stage at the Black Box Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts July 14th – July 17th, 2010.
Burning the Barn tells the story of Lexi, who struggles to find herself among the debris left behind after her antique home catches fire. When her estranged sister, adulterous husband and two strangers are stranded in the remains of the home, Lexi must confront the people she loves most.
“We’re hoping to let Bea Wissel and the entire cast showcase their talent,” said Artistic Director James Peter Sotis. “She’s a brand new playwright on the Boston scene and this play gives us all a chance to create something exciting and fresh. We’re a group of young artists sharing what the youth of Boston has to offer.”
Tickets can be purchased online at BostonTheatreScene.com or by phone at 617.933.8600 for $22, $17 for students and seniors. Tickets can also be purchased at the door subject to availability.
