Nicholas Martin directs, plays by Bob Glaudini, Annie Baker, and Stephen Karam for Huntington’s 2010-11 Season


Please note, the following information did not come from a press release received from the Huntington Theatre Company but comes from a 2010-11 Season Actors’ Equity Association Audition Listing on Playbill.com.

According to the audition listing posted by Chris Carcione of the Huntington Theatre Company the following plays have been planned for the 2010-11 Season.

Bus Stop
by William Inge
directed by Nicholas Martin
September 17 – October 17, 2010

Former Artistic Director Nicholas Martin returns to the Huntington.

Vengeance Is The Lord’s
by Bob Glaudini
directed by Peter DuBois
November 12 – December 12, 2010

There is no other results for the above title in Google. Peter DuBois previously helmed Glaudini’s Jack Goes Boating with Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Circle Mirror Transformation
By Annie Baker. Director: To Be Determined
October 15 – November 14, 2010

This was performed at Playwrights Horizon’s this past January.

Sons Of The Prophet
By Stephen Karam
directed by Peter DuBois
March 25 – April 24, 2011

Sons of the Prophet received a reading at New York’s Roundabout Theatre Company in June 2009. The Roundabout commissioned the work. Karam’s other works include Speech and Debate.

UPDATE (5-9-2010): According to a press release, William Inge’s Bus Stop replaces the previously announced pre-Broadway production of Kaufmann and Hart’s You Can’t Take It With You to be directed by Tony Award winner, Anna D. Shapiro. While no formal explanation was given by the Huntington, a February 1 article on Playbill.com characterizes the production’s origination at the Huntington as “pending the conclusion of negotiations.”
