The Met: Live in HD Saturday afternoon opera series will be at the Peterborough Players this year! The Metropolitan Opera’s Tosca, by Giacomo Puccini, opens the series on October 10th at 1 p.m. at the Players theatre. There are nine operas in the series, October through May, all showing at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoons.
The Peterborough Players is honored to be one of the select venues around the world to host the Metropolitan Opera series. All operas are simulcast live, via satellite and high definition equipment, onto a movie theatre-sized screen. Tickets are currently on sale for the season, with reserved seating. Tickets may be purchased individually for each show or in discounted subscription packages.
