Zeitgeist Stage Company has announced their 2009-2010 Season, which includes:
Lady
by Craig Wright
October 30 thru November 21
Lady by Craig Wright (TV’s Dirty Sexy Money) is a moving drama about three friends on a hunting trip which weighs in wisely on the nature of change, distance and truth. The characters include a pro-Bush, pro-war Democrat politician, and a loving dog that just wants to be a good girl. One of them won’t survive the day. Lady was nominated for a 08/09 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play.
Private Fears in Public Places
by Alan Ayckbourn
February 2 thru March 6
Six people, six separate lives – yet all strangely intertwined by both circumstance and chance. Told in a brisk, cinematic style, these personal stories of the misheard, the unspoken, and the sadly misunderstood are brilliantly portrayed into a mosaic of contemporary society.
To Be Announced, April 30 thru May 22
Zeitgeist Stage is currently in negotiations for the rights for a number of shows for our final slot of next season. Each would be a New England premiere of a contemporary work by an up-and-coming playwright.
