Due to the fantastic audience response and high ticket demand Orfeo Group is extending their run of the Complete WOWS(a) until August 22nd. Amazing reviews coupled with an awesome Orfeo Fest have provided cheering, delighted audiences that have demanded that Orfeo extend. This Matinee-less extension will feature our OrFREEo, Free Thursdays, Free Student Fridays and two special Monday performances on August 10th and 17th. “The summer is a busy time and many people have yet to see the show. We wanted to open up opportunities for anyone who would have missed it or wants to see it again. We also wanted to give folks another chance to check out some of the fantastic prelude acts they may have missed.” Says Caleb Magoon one of the Co-Producer’s of the show.

Orfeo Group Continues “Preludes in the Park”
Orfeo Group’s ambitious series of extension programming, coupled with BBQ and sunshine has received excellent reviews by all audiences. Beginning at 6:00 PM before every performance of the Complete WOWS(a), Orfeo Group presents a Prelude during which local actors, directors, playwrights and arts groups will showcase their work. Fridays will feature improvisational performances by Improv Boston, and Saturdays will feature children’s programming provided by Arlington Children’s Theatre, Stoneham Theatre’s Kids4Kids, Rebel Shakespeare and others. Upcoming performances not to be missed include Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band, ARTiculation, and many more local theater companies.

“It’s an exercise in community building,” says Orfeo member Risher Reddick. “The show will be presented outdoors under natural light with food, drink and a vibrant social atmosphere.”
